Bill Bradley, CPF developed the technique of embossing designs in fabric mats and backgrounds in the early 1980’s. Today he continues to work on new creative designs with the use of a computer generated mat cutter and CAD software. Sometimes known as the “Engineering Department”, Bill is our problem solver.

Jennifer comes to Bradley’s with 15 years experience in picture framing. Jennifer has been a 1st Place Winner in two local framing competitions and received an Honorable Mention in a national PPFA contest. She excels at every aspect of framing and is inspired by working with the frames and moulding finishes. At the recent West Coast Art & Frame Show, Jennifer attended 10 classes on gold leafing and frame finishes. We can’t wait for you to see what she can do. Jennifer is also responsible for Bradley’s production schedule and staff. She lives in Conroe with her husband, James, and lovely 10 yr. old daughter, Danielle. Welcome, Jennifer, we are pleased and honored to have you at Bradley’s.

Amy walked in the door on a recent Saturday afternoon and presented her resume. She has over 4 years experience as a picture framer and in sales and design. She has even worked with our computer software. Amy has a BA in Biology from UT and plans on continuing her fine art education here in Houston. She is passionate about creative design, conservation and first class customer service. Amy’s plans include passing her Picture Framing Certification test as soon as possible. We are proud to have Amy join the Bradley’s family. You will enjoy getting to know her.

Lisa Yee, who began working at Bradley’s in 1986, expertly completes the final assembly of your art work with glass, backing, frame, dust cover, bumpers, hangers, etc., whatever is necessary to send you out the door with a well-constructed, clean and safe-to-hang picture frame.

Stephen Gase MCPF (Master Certified Picture Framer) has been with Bradley’s since 1994. He effectively executes the designs thought up by the design sales staff. His responsibilities include cutting mats, mounting art, and working with fabrics and objects in shadow boxes. He’s a “wizard” using our computerized mat cutter “The Wizard”.

Angie Bravo is the “queen” of needlework and textiles. She excels at stitching jerseys, stretching needlepoint, and attaching christening dresses. Angie, with her “eye for detail”, checks all the completed framing jobs. They don’t pass her inspection unless they are “perfect”. She also re-arranges the gallery and keeps the showroom fresh and interesting.

Rachel Townsend Rachel is a recent graduate of Memorial High School and will be going to college In White Plains, NY at Manhattanville College. She is interested in International Studies. She will be working with us at Christmastime and during the summers. Rachel excels at every project she’s given. We wish her a great college career – we will miss her.

Aaron Schwab came to Bradley’s from Randall’s Grocery Store. He now handles all of our purchasing and order expediting. Aaron is a business student at the University of Houston and expects to graduate in about 2 years. He has mastered every challenge we’ve given him: fitting picture frames, framemaking, mat cutting, delivery & installation, computer entry and updating our website.

Casey Bradley, MCSG (Master Certified Shop Greeter)

This big white, fluffy, lovable dog is 9 years old and, we think, a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier mix. Casey was found running through the alley behind Pat & Bill’s house when he was around 4 months old. He takes his job as “Frame Shop Greeter” very seriously. Casey loves children, is very gentle and might greet you with a happy bark. The pose in the photo is a cross between “shake” and “please”. We hope you’ll enjoy Casey as much as we do.

Lily, the cat, has been “shop cat” at Bradley’s since the fall of 2002. She was found abandoned with 5 kittens; all were safely rescued.  Lily sometimes occupies her front-counter basket, but in cooler weather she is fond of her bed on Pat’s desk under a warm lamp.

Bradley’s Art & Frame has been a member of the Professional Picture Framers Association since 1970.  Bill was the first President of the Picture Framers Guild and served as the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter President.  Pat has held several offices and is currently editing the chapter newsletter. Bill and Pat are both recipients of the Arden Hoak Award that recognizes contributions to the profession of custom picture framing.
